Food for Fines

At all WCPL locations from Jan. 2-31, 2025

How Food for Fines works:

• Patrons bring in nonperishable, unexpired food items to help clear up fines they may have on their accounts.
• Each nonperishable, unexpired item equals $2 off their balance owed.
• This does not apply to lost or damaged items.
• The maximum amount to be waived from someone’s account is $26.
• This is a month-long initiative. At the end of the month, all food items will be distributed amongst local food pantries and nonprofit organizations that help with food insecurity.
