TAB is a volunteer program that provides teens with an opportunity to have a say in what happens in the teen sections of each library location. Members suggest ideas for teen programming and help organize teen events, help create displays of teen-interest books, and offer suggestions on books, comics, and manga. Teens can gain leadership and teamwork skills, make a difference in the library, and add to their college applications. Meetings at the Goldsboro Library are held once per month from September through May. Anyone age 12-18 may join, but they must have transportation to and from the library and have permission from their parents. Contact 919-735-1824 x5116 or email [email protected] to sign up!
