Lisa Y. Henderson will give a presentation on the life and times of Napoleon Hagans, a free man of color who rose to prominence in the Eureka and Fremont communities. Lisa Henderson is a public historian and descendant of one of the several Wayne County free families of color. She is the author of the history and genealogy blogs Black Wide-Awake and Scuffalong.
