D.J. Rogers is a poet, editorialist, essayist, activist, actor, and educator based in the Triangle region of NC. Born in Raleigh and living in Durham, he discovered a love for spoken word while pursuing a degree in poetry from UNC Chapel Hill. After a career teaching, doing workshops, and preparing college students for international competition, he has the honor of being appointed the inaugural Poet Laureate of Durham, North Carolina! Sumita Chakraborty is a poet and a scholar. The recipient of fellowships and honors from the Poetry Foundation, Kundiman, the Forward Arts Foundation, and other organizations, she is the author of the collection Arrow (Alice James Books (U.S.) and Carcanet Press (U.K.), 2020). Her poems have appeared in Poetry, the American Poetry Review, the Academy of American Poets’ Poem-a-Day series, the Best American Poetry series, and elsewhere. Katherine Wolfe grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she graduated from Broughton high school and Meredith College.  Later, she received graduate degrees in education and library science from East Carolina University.    She has worked as a teacher and media coordinator in the North Carolina Public Schools and as a college librarian at Chowan University, Wayne Community College, and the University of Mount Olive.
Since retiring from Wayne County Public Schools, she has actively pursued her creative writing interests.  She lives in Goldsboro and is a member of the Goldsboro Writers Group.  She has published poetry in various literary journal.  Her chapbook Time That Has Gone was published by Finishing Line Press in 2018.
