The Politics of Fashion with Annette Dunlap (Goldsboro)

Thursday, May 17, 2018

Throughout our nation’s history, the clothes worn by our first ladies have been the object of both admiration and of criticism. Join us for a fun and informative talk about the fashion choices of our first ladies and the interesting stories behind some of their chosen designers. Annette B. Dunlap, a freelance writer, has written articles for newspapers, inspirational magazines, and business publications, as well as three non-fiction books on the subject. Currently working for the NC Department of Agriculture, she has also covered the topic on C-SPAN. No registration is necessary to attend this free event. For more information, contact the Goldsboro library reference desk at 919-735-1824, ext. 5106.
